National Anthem Prop Odds

You bet the coin toss before the game starts, you might as well bet on how long the national anthem will take too – welcome to National Anthem Prop Odds mania.

*Update: Gladys Knight has been confirmed as Super Bowl 53 anthem singer. Good luck finding previous versions on youtube, we could only find this one from 1991 and the length could be 1:32 or 1:37, it’s hard to hear on the audio.

*Betting Update: The over-under was set at 1:50 at Betonline and 1:45 at Bovada – in ether case, if Gladys Knight speeds through the Star Spangled Banner as quickly as she did in 1991, it looks like a safe UNDER bet either way.

**Betting Update II: Gladys is done, looks like 1:47 – would be an UNDER depending on where you bet.

So as soon as the anthem singer is announced, savvy bettors head to Youtube to see if that singer has performed other NFL games or the NBA All-Star game or some other events. They watch the video, stopwatch in hand. Then they wait to see what the over-under time will be for the Super Bowl national anthem.

Below you will find the only definitive listing of Super Bowl national anthems and the length of each one. Your welcome!

It may seem silly, but many Super Bowl props are silly. And fun. And potentially profitable if you can find that the anthem singer is always around 1:35 and the odds just came out at 1:42. UNDER BABY!!!
