NFL Week 6 Picks Preview 2026
Week 6 opens Thursday night with Seattle at Denver and closes with the unbeaten 49ers hosting Washington on Monday Night Football. In between, Jacksonville stays at Wembley for a second straight week to face Houston, the winless Chargers walk into Arrowhead against a rested Chiefs team, and Dallas visits Lambeau for Sunday Night Football. The offshore books disagree sharply on Saints-Giants and Chargers-Chiefs, and that split is where we are attacking. Here are our five best bets and four bonus plays for the week.
Pick | Bet Type | Line | Best Book | Confidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Jaguars vs. Texans (London) | Spread | JAX -2.5 (-115) | Bovada | High |
Giants vs. Saints | Spread | NYG +1.5 (-107) | BetOnline | High |
49ers vs. Commanders | Spread | SF -7.5 (-110) | BetOnline | Medium |
Chiefs vs. Chargers | Spread | KC -7.5 (-120) | BetOnline | Medium |
Patriots vs. Jets | Spread | NE -6.5 (-120) | BetOnline | Medium |
Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
Jacksonville has a clear travel edge. The Jaguars beat Philadelphia at Wembley in Week 5 and never left, while Houston crosses the Atlantic straight off a road game in Tennessee. In an AFC South game with a 9:30 AM ET kickoff, the team already on London time holds the advantage.
The form gap backs it up. Jacksonville is 4-1. Houston is 1-4 straight up, 1-4 against the spread, 0-3 against the AFC, and scores just 18.0 points per game, 26th in the league. Take JAX -2.5 at -115 at Bovada, where you stay under the key number of 3.
The injury report adds to Houston's problems. WR Tank Dell was Out in Week 5 and four Texans offensive linemen were listed Questionable. Jacksonville's only Week 5 absences were in the secondary. The risk is a close, sloppy divisional game, but the rest and form edges point one way.
New Orleans Saints vs. New York Giants
This is the best number on the board. BetOnline has the Giants as 1.5-point underdogs at -107, while Bovada and Lucky Rebel have New York favored by 1. That 2.5-point split lets you take the points with the side other books have favored. Grab NYG +1.5 at BetOnline.
The Giants are 3-1-1 and tied for the best against-the-spread record in the league at 4-1. New Orleans is 1-4 and coming off a home loss to unbeaten Minnesota. The Saints were missing G Jeremiah Wright and linebackers Kaden Elliss and Anfernee Jennings, with Alvin Kamara Questionable. Malik Nabers, the Giants' running backs and LT Andrew Thomas all practiced fully.
Rain is possible at MetLife, which favors the home team that runs the ball. The Giants just need to win, or lose by one, to cash.
Washington Commanders vs. San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco is the class of the league right now. The 49ers are 5-0 straight up and 4-1 against the spread, score 30.8 points per game (3rd) and allow just 18.6. Washington is 1-3-1 and flies across the country for Monday Night Football. Take SF -7.5 at -110 at BetOnline.
Washington's receiving corps is hurting. Stefon Diggs was Out and Terry McLaurin Questionable with hamstring injuries. Backup QB Marcus Mariota is also Out, which leaves no safety net behind Jayden Daniels, who just returned from an elbow injury.
The risk is the 49ers' pass rush without Nick Bosa, who was Out in Week 5. Sunny 73-degree conditions at Levi's Stadium favor the more explosive offense, and that is San Francisco.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Shopping matters here. BetOnline deals KC -7.5 at -120, a full point below the -8.5 at Bovada and Lucky Rebel. That extra juice buys you protection against an eight-point Chiefs win, and it is worth paying.
The Chargers are 0-5 straight up and 0-4-1 against the spread, score 16.8 points per game (30th) and carry a -9.51 SRS. Their offensive line is in pieces: LT Joe Alt, G Kayode Awosika and G Trevor Penning were Out, and Rashawn Slater missed practice. WR Quentin Johnston and S Derwin James were also Out, with Ladd McConkey Questionable.
Kansas City comes off its Week 5 bye and hosts a division rival that can't protect its quarterback. The risk is a backdoor cover in a divisional game, but this Chargers offense has not shown it can score enough to get there.
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots
BetOnline is the only book dealing this game under a touchdown. Every other book sits at New England -7, and BetOnline's NE -6.5 at -120 protects you against a seven-point win, one of the most common margins in the NFL.
New England just hammered Las Vegas 45-17, with Drake Maye throwing for 399 yards and five touchdowns. The Jets were missing RB Breece Hall, G Dylan Parham and WR Adonai Mitchell in Week 5, which leaves their offense thin for an AFC East road game.
The risks are real. The Jets have covered well this season, and New England's top cornerbacks, Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis, were both Out. Maye's form and the Jets' injury list still make the Patriots the play.
Bonus Picks
- Colts -7 (-105) @ BetOnline - Tennessee is 0-5 with the NFL's 31st-ranked passing game, and Indianapolis gets them at home in a dome.
- Steelers -3 (+102) @ Lucky Rebel - Tampa Bay is 1-3-1 against the spread and starts a rookie quarterback with Baker Mayfield out, so plus money on Pittsburgh -3 is value.
- Ravens -4.5 (-111) @ Everygame - Cleveland is without QB Dillon Gabriel and several starters on both lines, but only bet this if Lamar Jackson is cleared from his ankle injury.
- Cowboys +1 (-111) @ Everygame - Dallas gets 10 days of rest while Green Bay's interior offensive line is banged up and DT Javon Hargrave is likely lost to an Achilles injury.
