NFL Week 5 Picks Preview 2026

Week 5 opens Thursday night with a banged-up Buccaneers team visiting Dallas and heads to London on Sunday morning, where the Eagles bring a 0-4 ATS record and a depleted roster into their matchup with Jacksonville. Bears-Packers renews the NFL's oldest rivalry at Lambeau, 49ers-Seahawks settles early NFC West positioning, and Bills-Rams closes the week on Monday night with a 54.5 total. Kansas City and Carolina are on bye. Quarterback injuries are the story of the week, and the offshore books have not priced all of them evenly.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (London)

Philadelphia arrives in London missing most of its offense. Both starting tackles, Lane Johnson and Fred Johnson, are out, along with DeVonta Smith, Hollywood Brown and Dallas Goedert. Saquon Barkley is week-to-week and center Cam Jurgens is in the concussion protocol. That leaves an offensive line and receiving corps the Jaguars' front can attack all game.

The form lines point the same way. The Eagles are 0-4 against the spread, while Jacksonville is 3-1 ATS and just beat Cincinnati 22-17. Bovada and Lucky Rebel deal Jaguars -7 at -105, the cheapest price on the key number of 7 in the market. BetOnline and Everygame charge -110 or more for the same spread.

Bet at Bovada

The risk is the neutral-site setting. Seven points in London can tighten if the game turns into a field-position grind. Even so, this Eagles roster can't keep pace, and Jacksonville covers.

Las Vegas Raiders at New England Patriots

Las Vegas is 4-0 against the spread and 3-1 straight up, scoring 28.8 points per game, eighth in the league. Its only loss was a 30-27 decision at Kansas City. New England's offense ranks 30th at 16.3 points per game and is now without A.J. Brown (injured reserve), with receiver Hollins questionable.

The Patriots' defense is shorthanded too, with cornerback Christian Gonzalez and defensive tackle Christian Barmore out. Lucky Rebel offers Raiders +3.5 at -108, the best price on the hook. At 3.5, a field-goal loss still cashes.

Bet at Lucky Rebel

The risk is the body clock: the Raiders fly west to east for a 1 PM ET kickoff. That isn't enough to offset a 4-0 ATS team catching more than a field goal against the league's 30th-ranked offense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Dallas Cowboys

Tampa Bay comes to Arlington on three days' rest without Baker Mayfield. Safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (rib) and cornerback Morrison are also out, and the Buccaneers are 0-4 against the spread. Dallas scores 30.5 points per game, second in the NFL, and is 3-1 ATS after putting 34 on Houston in Week 4.

The number matters here. Bovada and Lucky Rebel deal Cowboys -7.5 at -115, while BetOnline and Everygame hang -8. Taking the half point under 8 is worth the extra juice.

Bet at Bovada

The risk is the Dallas defense, which allows 28 points per game and can let a backdoor cover through. A backup quarterback on a short week is a tough spot to cover from, and Dallas wins this by more than a touchdown.

New York Giants at Washington Commanders

Washington's quarterback room is the most uncertain on the slate. Jayden Daniels is listed out with an elbow injury, though the team hopes he can start, and Marcus Mariota is doubtful with a knee injury. Terry McLaurin and guard Sam Cosmi are out, and left tackle Laremy Tunsil is on injured reserve.

The Commanders are also coming back from London with no bye, after a 30-13 loss to Indianapolis. The Giants are 3-1 against the spread and just scored 36 against Arizona. Everygame deals Giants +3.5 at -116, keeping the hook above the key number of 3 in a division game.

Bet at Everygame

The risk is the Giants' own quarterback situation, with Jaxson Dart out until January. Washington's injuries and travel are the bigger problem, and the hook makes New York the side.

Cleveland Browns at New York Jets

Cleveland has 10 days of rest after playing on Thursday and leads the AFC North at 3-1. Its last game was a 27-24 win over Pittsburgh. The Jets managed only 12 points against Chicago and are missing running back Breece Hall, tight end Mason Taylor and guard Parham.

This game has the biggest spread gap on Sunday. Bovada deals Browns +2 at -105, a full point better than BetOnline's +1. If you prefer the moneyline, Cleveland is +115 at Bovada and Lucky Rebel.

Bet at Bovada

The risk is up front: Cleveland is without two interior offensive linemen. With extra rest and a Jets offense this short on playmakers, the Browns cover, and they can win outright.

Bonus Picks

  • Packers Spread +3 (-115) @ BetOnline - Chicago is laying a road field goal at Lambeau without Caleb Williams or left tackle Braxton Jones, and the Bears are 10-30 against Green Bay over the last 20 years.
  • Steelers Spread -2.5 (-111) @ Everygame - Pittsburgh has 10 days of rest, while Indianapolis returns from London with no bye and without Keenan Allen and Alec Pierce.
  • Lions Spread -4.5 (-105) @ Bovada - This is a full point better than the -5.5 elsewhere, against an Arizona team that just lost left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. for the season.
  • Titans Spread +7 (-115) @ Lucky Rebel - Houston is 0-4 both straight up and ATS and allows 27.3 points per game, yet is laying a full touchdown on the road in a division game.
  • Ravens/Falcons Under 48.5 (-110) @ Bovada - Lamar Jackson is questionable with an ankle injury and Atlanta is on a short week, and this total sits 3 points above Everygame's 45.5.
