NFL Betting Lines: Week 15 Odds, Trends, and Top Matchups Preview

Week 15 of the NFL season starts off with a potential dud on Thursday night, with the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts squaring off.

The Broncos are a 2.5-point road favorite after snapping their eight-game losing streak both straight up and against the spread last week. They’ve still lost eight in a row on the road SU and ATS and in their last four as a road favorite they’re 1-3 SU and ATS. The Colts are 1-7 SU and 3-5 ATS in their last eight, and not surprisingly stink as a home favorite at 1-6 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven.

The NFL begins Saturday games this week and it includes an AFC West clash between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers are a 2-point road favorite having won four straight SU and posting a 7-2 ATS mark in their last nine. The Chiefs are 2-6 ATS in their last eight, but have won seven straight versus the Chargers while going 5-2 ATS.

Moving on to Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles begin life without Carson Wentz this week when they face the New York Giants as a 7.5-point road favorite. Wentz was lost for the season last week but the Eagles still won to improve to 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games. New York is 2-12 SU in their last 14 games, and against the Eagles they’re 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS in their last seven.

The battle for top spot in the NFC West heats up this week when the Seattle Seahawks host the Los Angeles Rams as a 1.5-point favorite. Seattle was upset by Jacksonville last week, dropping them to 3-3 SU and 2-3-1 ATS in their last six games. The Rams fell to Philadelphia, but still boast a 6-2 record SU and ATS in their last eight. Seattle defeated Los Angeles 16-10 as a 2.5-point underdog in October, but they’re still 3-4 SU and ATS in their last seven against them.

The game of the week looks like the New England Patriots at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite their upset loss to Miami on Monday night the Patriots are a 2.5-point favorite. That loss snapped New England’s eight-game winning streak, but they are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in their last four versus Pittsburgh. The Steelers have won eight straight but they’re only 4-4 ATS in that span.

This week’s Sunday night game is the Dallas Cowboys at the Oakland Raiders as a 3-point road favorite. Dallas has won four straight SU and ATS as a road favorite. Oakland is 2-4-1 ATS in their last seven, but at home they’ve won three straight at 2-1 ATS.

Closing out Week 15 on Monday is the Atlanta Falcons at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a 6-point road favorite. Atlanta is 6-1 SU in their last seven as a road favorite, but only 4-3 ATS. The Buccaneers have lost three straight SU and ATS, and in their last eight home games against the Falcons they’re 3-5 SU and 3-4-1 ATS.
