NFL Online Betting – NFL Betting Picks Week 4

Underdogs covered in six Week 3 contests, including five outright victories. Week 4 features five home underdogs, and six divisional matchups. Here is a sneak peek at the best bets.

Minnesota Vikings @ Denver Broncos
Game Line: Denver -7 | OU 43

Denver’s offense is ranked No. 30 in the NFL through the first three weeks, averaging just 290.7 total yards per game. But the Broncos’ defense has been outstanding, exploiting second-half mistakes and turnovers in each of their outings to remain undefeated.

That smothering defense will be brought to bear against Adrian Peterson, who powers the Vikings’ third-ranked ground game. That means pivot Teddy Bridgewater will have to be much better than his NFL-worst 168 passing yards per game in his duel with Peyton Manning, who has shown steady improvement following a rusty start.

Free Pick: Take Denver and give the points. Denver 27-13

Houston Texans @ Atlanta Falcons
Game Line: Atlanta -6.5 | OU 46.5

The undefeated Falcons return home firing on all cylinders after notching a pair of come from behind upset victories over the Giants and Dallas. Quarterback Matt Ryan is reaping the benefits of a competent offensive line, and is clicking regularly with his favorite target, Julio Jones, who leads the NFL with 440 receiving yards.

The Texans’ hallmark defense has struggled at times, and will have their hands full defending against the vaunted Falcons attack. The Texans’ offense has averaged less than 19 points per game, and is ill-equipped to keep pace against Atlanta.

Free Pick: Take Atlanta and give the points. Atlanta 31-17

Kansas City Chiefs @ Cincinnati Bengals
Game Line: Cincinnati -4 | OU 45

After starting 3-0 last season, Cincinnati endured a three-game winless streak that almost cost them a playoff spot. They have learned from that experience, and with pivot Andy Dalton trailing only Aaron Rodgers in passer rating and the Bengals once again looking unbeatable at Paul Brown Stadium, there is little reason to expect this team to stumble.

The Chiefs are better than their 1-2 record. Few expected them to win against the Packers at Lambeau last week, and they beat themselves in a shocking last-minute meltdown loss to Denver. This clash should turn out to be one of the closest and most fun to watch games of the weekend.

Free Pick: Take Kansas City and the points. Cincinnati 28-26

Oakland Raiders @ Chicago Bears
Game Line: Oakland -3 | OU 45

The 2-1 Raiders are powered by a youthful offense led by budding second-year pivot Derek Carr. But with a relatively soft schedule early on, their strong offensive performances have masked a league-worst defense.

The worst of the storm may have passed for Chicago following blowout losses to the powerhouse Packers, Cardinals, and Seahawks. The winless Bears have been through the war, and even without veteran quarterback Jay Cutler will be ready for an ugly meeting with a Raiders squad that has not yet earned their road favorite status.

Free Pick: Take Chicago and the points. Chicago 23-19
