NFL Online Betting – NFL Betting Picks Week 2

Underdogs finished strong in Week 1 of the NFL season, going 8-8 ATS while claiming four outright victories. Week 2 features six home underdogs, and three key divisional matchups. Here is a sneak peek at the best bets.

New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills
Game Line: New England -2 | OU 45

The Patriots have owned the Bills for over a decade, going 10-1 SU in their last 11 at Ralph Wilson Stadium, but now face a Buffalo squad sporting possibly the NFL’s best defense.

Ranked fourth overall in 2014, the Buffalo D smothered Indianapolis’ vaunted offense in a 27-14 win last week, twice sacking Andrew Luck, who made three turnovers. Buffalo has now held visitors to just 10 points per game in their last four. Expect more of the same from this lunch-pail crew, especially with defensive tackle Marcell Dareus back in the lineup

Free Pick: Take Buffalo and the points. Buffalo 21-17

Tennessee Titans @ Cleveland Browns
Game Line: Tennessee -1 | OU 41.5

Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota silenced the doubters with a spectacular NFL debut in Tennessee’s 42-14 Week 1 rout of Tampa Bay, throwing four touchdown passes, while second-year rushers Terrance West and Bishop Sankey combined for 115 yards and one score.

Cleveland is coming off an embarrassing 31-10 loss to the New York Jets, surrendering two touchdown passes and 154 yards on the ground, while making five turnovers. Mariota and the young Titans are bound to come back down to Earth, but it won’t be against the lowly Browns.

Free Pick: Take Tennessee and give the points. Tennessee 25-16

Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles
Game Line: Philadelphia -4.5 | OU 55

The Eagles travel home following a shocking 26-24 loss to Atlanta. However, all indicators point to this revamped squad improving as the season progresses.

Dallas is 9-0 SU in their last nine regular season road games, but are without injured receiver Dez Bryant, who will be replaced by committee, creating a bigger role for the Cowboys ground game, which sorely misses DeMarco Murray. Philly is hungry for their first win, and to tip the balance of power in the NFC East.

Free Pick: Take Philadelphia and give the points. Philadelphia 31-24

New York Jets @ Indianapolis Colts
Game Line: Indianapolis -7 | OU 47

The Jets feasted on Cleveland in Week 1, extending their ATS win streak to four games with their 31-10 win. New York is 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four in Indy, including three outright wins as underdogs, but are 0-4 SU in their past four road openers.

The crucial question is how Indianapolis responds to last week’s humbling 27-14 loss to Buffalo. More production must come from new Colts Frank Gore and Andre Johnson, while Indy must shut down the Jets’ ground game which proved effective against the Browns. For an angry Indianapolis team built to contend for a Super Bowl, it should not be too much to ask.

Free Pick: Take Indianapolis and give the points. Indianapolis 35-15
